My Experience With The Chiropractor

Hello everyone! My name is Robert and I would like to share with you my experience at a White Bear Lake chiropractor. This all took place on November 31st in the year 2010. I was driving home from work at about one in the afternoon, everything was going great. I was having a good day at work, but still excited to get home and see my family! In doing so I ended up not paying so much attention to my speedometer, and next thing you know I am spinning onto the side of the road and down into the ditch. Where I then rolled my vehicle two times over!

So finally after about thirty-five minutes, the state trooper and the ambulance arrived. They helped me get out of my crushed car and into the ambulance. If you knew me, you would understand that even going to a doctor for something big, was not my cup of tea. They eventually talked me in to going to the emergency room to be looked at. So the doctor looked me over, did the x-rays, and found nothing! All that he had said was you may have some sort of whiplash and he gave me something for my neck muscles. As you all should know most doctors “DO NOT” like chiropractors and their services.

Once they discharged me from the emergency room, my wife was there waiting to pick me up. So we headed home and I told her everything that had happened, that I felt fine, and that I just had a little headache. Now keep in mind she goes to the chiropractor three times a week! She has said over and over how much it had helped her back pain. So of course first thing she says is “Well honey we should bring you in and have him take a look.” I for the most part was not so keen on the idea.

We arrived at the Chiropractor’s office and we only sat in the waiting room for a total of four minutes, before I was called back! That was way faster than the emergency room wait, so I was relieved. I still remembered this place because we had brought my son here for a DOT Physical, which made me feel a little more comfortable. So once he got me back into the exam room, he was really nice and he could tell I was nervous, so he helped me calm down. We got done with the exam and he told me that I have a pinched nerve and a disc that was out of alignment, and that he could fix it very easily if I came in for some regular visits. So of course I agreed with him, told him I would be back in soon and setup an appointment. In my mind I was not planning on coming back.

About a month later I started having troubles sleeping and doing everyday things because my back started hurting so bad. Again I went into the doctor and they just gave me more medication. That helped temporarily but didn’t officially get rid of the pain. So I remebered the chiropractor, and I setup an appointment. Sure enough just after the first two appointments I started feeling way better, and I have been going there since!

  1. I’m glad to hear your chiropractor was able to help you out. If you suffer any complications down the road and decide to take action, you will discover that you only have about 1 year in most cases. If it’s not too late, you should consider doing so now.
